Vision Statement

To have set forth criteria that ensure the best possible care is given to women veterans in VA Medical Centers.

To be advocates for women veterans and women now serving in today’s military.

Mission Statement

Women Veterans of America shall unite all women veterans and ensure the best possible care is given to women veterans by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Medical Centers.  WVA is an advocate for all women veterans and for women currently serving in the military.  This is accomplished by:

• Providing information and support to women veterans.

• Being liaisons to proper government agencies.

• Assisting women veterans in obtaining VA benefits.

• Serving on Women Veteran’s Advisory Committees.

• Serving through the VA Voluntary Services

• Becoming involved in local and national issues pertaining to all women veterans and to those women presently in the military.
